High School Testing Information

End of Instruction (EOI) Tests

EOI tests are given three times each year. If a student has previously failed an EOI, they can retake the test in the winter and summer test sessions as well as during the regular spring test session.

  • The spring paper/pencil test window is April 15 - Friday, May 3, 2013.
  • The EOI online testing is extended to Friday, May 10.
  • The English II and English III Writing dates are Tuesday and Wednesday, April 23 and 24, 2013.

ACT

The ACT is the most common test utilized for college admission in Oklahoma. The ACT is given at Broken Arrow High School, but students have to register online for the ACT. 

  • The cost is $35
  • The HHS school code is 371-805

                                                     

Notice!

If you qualify for free and reduced lunch (ask your school counselor or front office staff) you can receive 2 free ACT’s and 2 free SAT’s total during your Junior/Senior year.  Universities will accept either test score.  


SAT

*The SAT is now going through a big change and beginning next year is expected to look a lot like the ACT.  We encourage you to take both. 

While not as common in Oklahoma, the SAT is another test option for college admission.

Please register online for the SAT. 

The test is given at Bishop Kelley, Booker T. Washington and the University of Tulsa. 

The cost is $50

Advanced Placement (AP)

Advanced Placement exams are given in the spring each year.

  • The fee is $89 per test.
  • Information regarding AP testing will be announced in the spring.
